Educate our children rather than send them to war

This is a follow-up to yesterday’s post on push-back onto the corporate powers that be and their military.
When you step back and look at what is happening in education and you start to see the connections to the larger picture, one can see that we are pushing back against the same corporate machine.
If we stopped burning up money paying for the military/corporate machine and used tax payer dollars to instead provide an education for all of our children, we would be in a far better place.
On Sunday, veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars had a very moving ceremony that is described by Democracy Now:
