Yes, online polls are highly unscientific.

Still, the results of two online polls posted this past week on mlive.com provide further evidence of Michigan residents' dissatisfaction with the changes in K-12 year implemented over the past year by Gov. Rick Snyder and the Republican majority in the Legislature.

In a poll about the top Michigan education story of 2011, about 40 percent of readers said the biggest development was Snyder tapping into the School Aid Fund to subsidize higher education, thus using a surplus in the SAF to help balance the state's General Fund.
