The brain is involved in everything we do at school. To ignore it is irresponsible.

Schools are the only context where we can ensure every child is exposed to a permissive environment which works with children's natural desire to play and move, and that provides for the possibility of a coordinated sequentially developed health education.

Although we can't make our students think, we can teach them how to be skillful, creative, and strategic in their thinking

  • As a school system we are in jeopardy of exposing our students to more stress because we are not offering them the important breaks that they need. Everyone needs time away from their desk in order to take a brain and body break from work.
