Vancouver school district conflict with union escalates

Kristine Guerra/The OregonianMembers of the Vancouver Association of Educational Support Professionals, a nonteaching employees union, made a vote of no confidence in Vancouver Public Schools Superintendent Steve Webb.

The yearlong cold war between Vancouver Association of Educational Support Professionals and Vancouver Public Schools got hot this week.

Association members said the state Public Employees Relations Commission has notified them that they can move forward with the

unfair labor practices complaint they filed against the school district.
