Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy (SRCL) Team Meeting Agenda

The purpose of the meeting is to review the revised Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy (SRCL) Draft Plan.

10:00 a.m. - 10:10 a.m.	Welcome and Introductions Glen Thomas, Chair of the SRCL Committee Aida Molina, State Board of Education Liaison Phil Lafontaine, Director, CDE
10:10 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.	Update on the status of the SRCL plan and Common Core Workgroup Phil Lafontaine: Status of application for grant funds for SRCL Tom Adams: Status of SPI workgroup to implement common core, and the relationship to SRCL
10:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.	Review and discussion of new draft plan including responses SRCL Team members have submitted this past week.
11:45 a.m.	Public Comment
12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.	Lunch
1:00 p.m.	Continue discussion of SRCL Draft plan

Final Public Comment will begin at the conclusion of the last agenda item. Adjournment of the meeting will follow Public Comment.

Copies of the SRCL plan will be available for the public at the meeting on September 22, 2011.
