Just like his boss did a couple of weeks ago, Arne Duncan is out doing a bus tour this week, touting the importance of education and the economy in a handful of Great Lakes communities. Friday afternoon he'll be atSchurz. Here's the bus he's on -- apparently they're really using it for travel -- and here's the list of schools and locations. The hashtag is #EDtour11 if you're into that kind of thing. Wednesday, Sept. 7 8:20 a.m. (press avail 9:35 a.m.) The Secretary will kick off the “Education and the Economy” bus tour around the Great Lakes region with a panel discussion with Pittsburgh Superintendent Linda Lane and local labor leaders that will focus on labor management collaboration. The Best First Day Ever

Today's news is all about how the first day went -- perfectly, far as the newspapers have it, though I know that's probably not entirely true.
