Thousands come out to teacher rally in Washington, protest Obama and decade of ‘bad’ policies

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Despite 95-degree heat and high humidity, an estimated crowd of 3,000 to 5,000 descended onto the National Mall and later marched to the White House as part of the Save Our Schools and National Call to Action, calling on President Obama and Congress to roll back No Child Left Behind and Race to the Top policy initiatives.
