New Jersey Turnpike toll collectors may be prepared to make as much as $14 million or more in concessions – including $2.4 million in salary rollbacks – to stop privatization of their jobs, according to details obtained by The Record.

The Turnpike Authority last week requested proposals from firms looking to take over toll collection operations on the two toll roads starting in July.
