How Texas colleges fare with their achievement gaps

The Education Trust recently released two reports that look at how well both public and private universities are graduating minority students. The studies pay special attention to the gap between the number of Anglo students and the number of Latinos and African Americans who graduate from these schools.

In the words of the Education Trust, the authors try to "identify public and private four-year institutions that appear to serve their black and white students equally well -- that is, where both groups graduate at similar rates.
