NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH, Mass.—While many high schools have placed severe restrictions on student cell phone use, one Massachusetts school is actually relaxing the rules.

Students at North Attleborough High School had only been allowed to use their phones during two time periods -- a seven-minute break in the morning and at lunch.
But under new rules approved by the school committee this week, next year they will be allowed to use their cell phones during all breaks between classes.
The new rules have the blessing of school administrators. Cell phone use will still be banned during class time.
