EcoCenter may have to close - SignOnSanDiego.com:

"SAN DIEGO — An award-winning educational program that has taught thousands of Southern California school children about renewable energy and energy independence could shut down soon because of a lack of funds.

“We are endangered,” said Judy Bishop, executive director of the EcoCenter for Alternative Fuel Education.

Based in a former car dealership on El Cajon Boulevard, the EcoCenter has postponed student tours while it seeks funding to pay its monthly $12,700 rent, Bishop said."
